Plumbing Digital Design Lead

Overview

Design and draft plumbing systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.

Tasks

-Prepare riser diagrams, equipment layouts, plumbing details, and other detailed drawings required for construction under the supervision of a Mechanical Designer or Engineer. -Work independently with oversight from the Mechanical Engineer and may direct the efforts of less experienced BIM Designers. -Model plumbing piping systems layouts and perform plumbing calculations. -Conduct shortterm field assignments at client facilities to support project work as needed. Perform other duties as needed. -Perform complex building plumbing design and drafting assignments requiring application of standardized drawing techniques.

What You Bring

-Experience in plumbing drafting of all phases of the construction documents -Able to coordinate equipment and piping system layouts with other disciplines. -Experience in the design of plumbing systems for commercial, industrial or institutional projects. -Knowledge of procedures for production of design developments and construction documents, a thorough knowledge of engineering planning, drafting, and detailing. -Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm -Associate degree in a Technology program or combination of education and relevant experience
