The Role

Overview

Mid-level architect focusing on BIM for mixed-use, residential, commercial projects

Tasks

-Participate in the coordination of design and production of all phases, schematic design, design development and construction documents. -Interface with Clients, Consultants, the Project Manager, and the Project Architect, as well as other Architectural team members. Coordinate individual work scopes with the rest of the project team. -Site surveying of existing architectural conditions. -Assist in the preparation of technical drawings as well as design and conceptual presentation imagery. -Submit PDF resumes and work samples (not to exceed 5 MB) to: [email protected] -Assist with bid period and construction administration services, including site visits and coordination with the owner - private and/or public agency. -Provide salary requirements in the body of your cover letter. *Applications without salary requirements will not be considered. -Motivate and inspire team members throughout the project.

What You Bring

-Demonstrated project delivery experience, including production & coordination of drawings for all architectural phases. -Experience in the Construction Administration phase. -Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture. -Strong communication and client interface skills. -Knowledge of construction materials, details, and methods. -Relevant NYC experience. -Working understanding of the NYC codes and zoning. -4-7 years of professional experience in an architectural office. -Integral team member for mixed-use, residential, education, and institutional projects, from feasibility through construction administration. -High proficiency in Revit.
