Tasks
-Supporting the minimisation of traffic impacts during construction and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. -Engaging and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders including Local Authorities, TII, and suppliers. -Assisting in the management and dissemination of project learnings and best practices across the team. -Providing technical guidance and contributing to resolutions for project risks and issues. -Evaluating junction and signal controller designs, microsimulation and strategic modelling assessments, and ITS equipment specification. -Preparing and reviewing technical reports, documentation, and assessments to support project delivery. -Driving best practices and technical standards for ITS activities. -Assisting in the design, review, and technical assurance of ITS implementations (e.g., traffic signal control, adaptive traffic control software, bus priority systems) across project lifecycles.

What You Bring
-Knowledge of safety, compliance, and best practice standards in ITS and road project environments. -Strong problem-solving with high attention to detail. -Proficient in ITS equipment and documentation review. -Fully proficient in Microsoft Office suite and relevant ITS/project tools. -Chartered Engineer status and membership in a professional institution is desirable. -Proven experience (minimum 3+ years) designing, implementing, and assuring ITS solutions in major urban road/infrastructure projects. -Knowledge of traffic modelling (strategic, junction, microscopic) and assessment. -Bachelor's degree in engineering (or equivalent) is essential. -Safepass accreditation is desirable. -Strong technical knowledge of traffic signal controller design, adaptive traffic control software, junction design, and bus priority systems. -Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. -Ability to manage technical outputs, prioritise tasks, and deliver against deadlines.
