Tasks

The logistics coordinator position analyzes and coordinates the logistical functions of an organization; assists in the life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery and final disposal of resources. -Maintain logistics best practices for shipping and material distribution efficiency. -Develop and maintain positive relationships with delivery, freight and external logistics representatives. -Coordinate the job site distribution of tools, devices and communication tools (e.g., power tools, tablets, and radios). -Coordinate and perform logistics operations including inventory management, shipping, and receiving processes. -Coordinate and communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure receipt of deliveries and distribution of shipments. -Collaborate with departments to streamline workflows through technology solutions. -Report transportation needs to Logistics Manager -Ensure timely and accurate data entry and reporting in logistics systems.
