Tasks
-Work on a diverse portfolio of major infrastructure projects, including nation-critical power projects. -Designing and specifying structural elements for diverse projects, with a strong focus on power and energy infrastructure. -Producing deliverables including drawings, specifications, and reports in compliance with industry standards. -Reviewing calculations, technical drawings, and supplier submissions to ensure quality and compliance. -Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to provide safe, efficient, and sustainable solutions. -Supporting the development of early-career engineers and contributing to technical excellence.

What You Bring
-Demonstrable experience delivering projects in at least one sector BakerHicks operates in – power sector experience desirable. -Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent). -Collaborative communicator with the ability to work effectively across disciplines. -UK-based project experience in structural engineering either through employment, internship, or graduate placement -Eligibility for security clearance (essential for certain projects). -Progressing towards Chartered or Incorporated status with ICE or IStructE. -Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., MasterSeries, STAAD, Tedds). -Strong knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards, and CDM regulations.
