The Role

Overview

Manages inventory, replenishment, and shipping for packaged goods at external warehouses.

Tasks

-Stock reconciliation (packaged warehouses including Norfolk) for inventory adjustments as needed and corrective actions. -Provide supply chain accurate inventory stock counts, at least weekly, and more frequent as needed, verifying production/pallet counts of finished products, package size, quantity and lot number. -Allocate all packaged orders for customers and outside warehouse replenishment. -Replenishment of inventory, determine safety stock levels in coordination with sales forecast, order book and historical sales. -Sampling PreShipments of materials as required. -Reclassification for Supersacks to Bulk for customer orders at bulk transloaders. -Support of Master data alignment for the packaged material network. -Annual performance review of packaged warehouse locations (safety and practices). -Point of liaison for emergencies and daily routines with production and sales. -Shelf life management / aged reporting and alerting Sales to ensure inventory movement. -Daily follow-up with Norfolk and all external packaged warehouses to ensure timely receipt of documents for processing into the ERP system. -Ensure Customers with spec requirements are allocated as required. -Daily optimized operations (in / out / stock count). -Send updated Order Confirmations to packaged customers where orders are delayed due to product availability, advising of the available date based on the Production Packing Schedule

What You Bring

-Critical thinking and problem solving skills. -Above average working knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets. -Minimum of 1 year inventory control and distribution experience. -Detail oriented with strong clerical skills. -Ability to work as part of the Supply Chain Team, with flexibility to assist where needed. -Ability to work in a production environment. -Experience with integrated ERP System, SAP experience preferred. -Strong written, verbal communication and mathematical skills. -Minimum of High School Graduate or GED, additional education is beneficial
