Tasks

-Ensuring compliance with Australian codes, standards, and regulatory requirements. -Leading and reviewing designs, specifications, and drawings for transmission lines (132kV and above). -Conducting technical assessments and feasibility studies for major transmission line projects. -Supporting construction, testing, and commissioning activities. -Collaborating with utilities, EPCs, and government agencies throughout the project lifecycle. -Providing design leadership and mentoring within the team to ensure technical excellence.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). -Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders. -Knowledgeable on Australian and International standards and industry codes of practice for transmission lines. -Strong technical leadership skills with the ability to guide a multidisciplinary team. -10+ years’ experience in transmission line engineering, with proven HV (132kV and above) design capability. -The Aurecon Design Academy (earn a Graduate Certificate in Design Management with RMIT University) -Experience working with utilities, transmission asset owners, or EPC contractors. -Proficiency in transmission line design tools (e.g., PLS-CADD, PLS TOWER, PLS POLE). -Must be a Registered Professional Engineers in Victoria (RPEV)
