-Dependability and an eagerness to take ownership of tasks. -Prior work experience (5-10 years) in Consulting Engineering or other business working in the MEP or clean energy sector. -Knowledge of engineering concepts, theories, and practices related to building/mechanical systems, energy efficiency, renewable generation and other clean energy technologies. -Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. -Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. -Flexible attitude towards assignments, with the initiative and ability to take on new projects and other challenges regularly. -Knowledge of building control systems a plus. -Proficiency in AutoCAD or Autodesk Revit a plus. -Proven ability to mentor and support staff growth. -Experience or keen interest in project management and project delivery. -5+ years of experience in clean energy, MEP design or construction related field. -PE, CEM or LEED AP certification or other engineering- or energy- or sustainability-related accreditation, certification or training. -Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and work ethic. -Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Energy Engineering, or a related technical degree with proven work experience. -Self-motivated, and team-oriented, with the ability to work successfully both independently and within team.
