Create and manage construction schedules, support planning and coordination across projects.

Tasks
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project planning and execution across multiple sites, working closely with site teams, quantity surveyors, and project managers. Construction Scheduler -Produce lookahead programmes, progress trackers, and assist in developing as-built programmes. -Facilitate white board meetings to review programme status and collaborate on weekly planning. -Prepare tender and construction programmes and methodologies for both traditional and design & build projects. -Support project teams by identifying risks and offering planning solutions. -Assist in establishing project resource requirements. -Coordinate with internal stakeholders including site teams, QS teams, and project managers etc. -Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes and reporting tools. -Develop and update project schedules using Microsoft Project, encompassing the full project scope, key milestones, and timelines, using Critical Path Methodology (CPM).

MMD Construction are seeking to hire a Construction Scheduler to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with construction experience to work on a wide range of exciting projects. -Knowledge of planning software or lean scheduling tools (e.g., Last Planner, Primavera) is an advantage. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Strong organisational and time management abilities with a proactive approach to meeting deadlines. -A relevant third-level qualification in Construction, Engineering, or Project Management is beneficial or comparable construction industry experience. -Strong IT skills, with the ability to produce clear reports and planning documentation. -Minimum 6 years ‘on site experience preferably within the construction sector. -Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
