Tasks
-Frequently reviews standard details and quality control measures and upgrade as necessary -Delegates and directs technical/design tasks to technical engineering staff -Leads the Company in developing quality processes for effective & efficient technical/design delivery on projects -Completes the design components of larger and/or more complex projects in accordance with engineering agreements/scopes, standards of the Company and general best practices -Contributes to and advises on the design solutions for project proposals & client presentations -Meets/exceeds competencies, work products and responsibilities of a Senior Lead Technical Engineer -Extends externally to keep up with best practices and builds an external reputation for technical/design capability & credibility -Leads the technical development and approach for winning proposals -Contributes to the training and mentoring of staff for efficient project execution & quality. -Responsible for the overall design review and delivery of quality PS&E’s (plans, specifications and estimates)

What You Bring
-California Professional Engineer (PE) license required; or PE in another state with the ability to obtain CA Licensure within one-year, other relevant certifications a plus -Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with a variety of unique and diverse people and personalities -Proven ability to direct and delegate work assignments -Strong knowledge of construction methods and techniques -Proficient in MS PowerPoint and other software packages -Demonstrated advanced knowledge of technical best practices, quality standards and details -Knowledge of overall project deliverables (PSR, PAED, PS&E) -Adequate to Excellent communication skills both written and verbal -20+ years’ progressively responsible relevant experience -A Masters’ Degree in specific & relevant areas of engineering is highly preferred -BS degree in Civil Engineering,
