Supported Living Housing Officer

Overview

Manage supported living properties, ensure tenant wellbeing, handle tenancy administration and maintenance.

Tasks

-Make a positive impact by providing high-quality homes, supporting independence, and creating opportunities. -Conduct property visits (at least twice yearly) to check condition, maintenance, repairs, and health & safety. -Liaise with external agencies and maintain accurate records. -Address anti-social behaviour and tenancy management issues. -Work with trusted experts in partnership with commissioning bodies to develop more supported living accommodation. -Manage sign-ups and terminations for tenants. -Support tenants with additional needs (learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions) in partnership with support providers.

What You Bring

-Experience of accurate record keeping. -Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle. -Excellent customer service and communication skills, adaptable to different audiences. -Experience working in an agile way. -Understanding of learning disabilities and autism. -Experience within housing management. -Experience in specialised supported housing. -Housing-related qualifications. -Good standard of education (GCSEs or equivalent) or equivalent experience, with strong IT and computer literacy skills.
