The Role

Overview

Manage AP functions, process invoices/payments, reconcile accounts, support month‑end.

Tasks

-Assist with audit requests related to accounts payable and financial reporting. -Work with internal teams and external vendors to resolve invoice and payment issues. -Maintain an organized filing system for invoices, approvals, and payment records. -Ensure proper coding of invoices to the correct general ledger accounts. -Maintain accurate records of vendor accounts, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies. -Process employee expense reports and ensure adherence to company policies. -Assist in month-end close processes by reconciling accounts payable transactions. -Manage accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, vendor payment scheduling, and expense reconciliation.

What You Bring

-Strong attention to detail and ability to handle a high volume of transactions. -Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. -Bachelor’s Degree preferred. -Experience with multiple entity allocation structures. -Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles. -Multifamily experience preferred, but commercial experience will be considered. -Proficiency in accounting software, preferably OneSite/RealPage or similar platforms. -Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer service mindset. -2 - 4 years of related experience in accounts payable. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -Self-starter with problem-solving abilities.
