Tasks

-Disassembles and repairs necessary parts on customer equipment using appropriate tools. This may include drilling, tapping, using a torch, cleaning and removing bearings and cleaning parts. -Read and understand process sheet and paperwork to determine specifications. -Responsible for disassembly, inspecting, repairing and reassembling equipment on customer rolls. -Conforms to safety and inspection requirements. -Reassembles equipment to customer specifications. -Maintains a clean work area. -Complete daily paperwork.

What You Bring

-Must be able to lift 50-60 lbs. and work up to 12 hour shift on concrete floor. -Good mechanical aptitude and mechanical experience with good working knowledge and experience with powered hand tools. -High school diploma or equivalent. -Experience using lift trucks and overhead cranes desired. -Knowledge of hydraulics helpful. -Ability to read and use tape measures, calipers and micrometers, including metric measurements. -3 years experience helpful, will train qualified candidate -Ability to train for operation of all machines.
