Tasks

You’ll also share your genius as you mentor and support junior technical staff within the team. You will lead approvals projects, prepare baseline and impact assessment scopes of work, interpret specialist reports, prepare high-quality technical reports, and provide approvals and regulatory support to a variety of environmental approvals and management projects.

What You Bring

We are looking for a Senior or Principal Environmental Consultant to play a critical role in further strengthening our approval capabilities in South Australia. This position requires an experienced approvals specialist with expertise in South Australian projects requiring both state and federal approvals. -A demonstrated track record of delivering complex approvals projects. -The ability to mentor staff within their technical expertise and work well within a multi-disciplinary team. -Experience preparing referral documentation under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act. -A background in Environmental Approvals and/or Mine Closure. -A relevant science or engineering degree. -Around 10+ years industry experience, with experience delivering projects, ideally under South Australian legislation such as Planning, Development, and Infrastructure Act; and/or the Mining Act.
