  • Assist in recruiting top engineering talent who align with the team’s technical excellence and company culture.
  • Deliver transportation projects that improve mobility, safety, and quality of life in local communities.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance.
  • Oversee the design and execution of highway engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
  • Implement and oversee quality control processes and conduct technical audits to ensure high standards.
  • Ensure effective resource allocation, adequate staffing, and utilization to meet project and team goals.
  • Engage with dynamic groups such as the Community Impact and Fun Committees, Fisher Minds (ERG), and the Employee Advisory Group
  • Maintain effective communication with project managers, clients, and cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to the organization's technical strategy and help forecast future technical needs.
  • Serve as a technical lead, guiding the team on best practices, decisions, and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Foster a high-performing, motivated team through clear expectations, constructive feedback, mentoring, and career development.
  • Stay current with transportation design trends and emerging technologies, integrating them into project solutions.

  • Proficiency in MS Office; MicroStation preferred
  • Driven to own projects, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
  • Prior staff management preferred
  • 8-15 years’ experience in civil transportation engineering
  • Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred or ability to obtain it
  • Proven ability to deliver quality work through critical thinking, problem-solving, and sound judgment
