Water Hygiene Engineer

Overview

Perform water hygiene sampling, maintenance, and compliance tasks for commercial buildings

Tasks

-Perform water sampling for laboratory analysis -Conduct temperature monitoring in line with ACOP L8 / HSG 274 control regimes -Service, calibrate, and replace TMVs (Thermostatic Mixing Valves) -Clean and disinfect Cold Water Storage Tanks (CWST) -Take on plumbing remedial works (depending on experience and qualifications) -Carry out shower cleans and disinfections -Inspect and survey CWSTs and water heaters

What You Bring

-Good basic understanding of ACOP L8 & HSG 274 Part 2 -Be able to pass an enhanced DBS -Ability to complete paperwork & make recommendations from Service Visits -NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing (desirable) -Notice – 1 week during probation, increasing to 1 month thereafter -Excellent timekeeping -A keenness to progress and take on additional training -Strong work ethic and positive attitude -Full UK driving licence (Essential) -Probationary Period – 6 months
