Produce detailed AutoCAD drawings from customer architectural/mechanical plans for manufacturing.

Tasks

-Follow directions and learn company-specific drafting standards. -Develop a working knowledge of manufacturing processes, machines, and various building materials. -Develop drawings based on designs and sketches provided by engineers or experienced staff. -Understand and incorporate customer requirements from quotations and specifications. -Read and interpret customer architectural and mechanical plans. -Apply drafting fundamentals, including orthographic views, standard dimensioning practices, and scaling using English and metric units. -Create drawings that involve checking dimensions of parts, documenting materials, and verifying form, fit, and function of parts in assemblies. -Utilize CAD software to generate drawings for customer and manufacturing processes.

What You Bring

-Proficiency in AutoCAD and drafting techniques. -Knowledge in 2D AutoCAD and 2D Design. -Experience with mechanical design, specifically with dampers and louvers. -Skillful use of CAD software for creating detailed drawings. -Familiarity with Revit, sheet metal, and blueprint architecture. -Understanding of standard dimensioning practices and scaling with English and metric units. -Ability to read and understand customer architectural and mechanical plans. -Experience in checking dimensions and documenting materials for parts in assemblies.
