Tasks

-Manage project risks and issues, including developing contingency plans and mitigating strategies, andcommunicating progress and challenges to stakeholders and senior leadership. -Lead control systems projects from inception to completion, ensuring that project goals, timelines, and budgets aremet. Design and develop control systems, including hardware and software components, to meet the specifi crequirements of a project. Develop and implement control algorithms and logic. Integrate control systems with existing or new equipment, machinery, or processes. Test and debug control systems to ensure proper functionality and adherence to specifi cations. Identify andresolve any issues or malfunctions through systematic troubleshooting and debugging techniques. Prepare technical documentation, including system specifi cations, design documents, user manuals, andmaintenance procedures. -Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and senior leadership, including presenting project plans,budgets, and schedules. -Assist with the development of proposals. -Mentor and coach junior engineers and technologists. -Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resourcing, including managing the procurement ofnecessary equipment and materials. -Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and supply chain, to ensure alignmentand timely delivery of project milestones. -Design and develop control systems, including hardware and software components, to meet the specifi crequirements of a project. -Integrate control systems with existing or new equipment, machinery, or processes. -Prepare technical documentation, including system specifi cations, design documents, user manuals, andmaintenance procedures. -Define project objectives, scope, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders, including identifyingopportunities for additional automation and electrifi cation scope within the project. -Ensure compliance with ANDRITZ Quality System. -Develop and implement control algorithms and logic. -Embody, demonstrate, and reinforce the ANDRITZ core values and behaviours. -Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to ensureeff ective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. -Test and debug control systems to ensure proper functionality and adherence to specifi cations. Identify andresolve any issues or malfunctions through systematic troubleshooting and debugging techniques.

What You Bring

Our Automation & Digitalization division seeks a Senior Engineer who specializes in the design, development, andimplementation of control systems for industrial facilities. -Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial engineering; preferably in Pulp & Paper. -Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate eff ectively withstakeholders at all levels of the organization. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues. -Registered as an EIT or P.Eng., or AScT in British Columbia. -Ability and willingness to travel to domestic and international sites. -Legally entitled to work in Canada. -Strong understanding of automation and electrifi cation technologies, including knowledge of industry standards,best practices, and emerging trends. -Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering with a focus on automation and electrifi cation technologies. -Project management experience an asset. -Consulting engineering experience an asset.
