Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and services for construction projects.

Tasks

-Support the Equipment Yard and project teams with all related administrative tasks such as invoicing, inventory management and dispatch of equipment and materials. -Develop analytics, systems, data management, metrics, reports with regard to supply chain management. -Identify key contacts and assist in establishing and maintaining vendor relationships. -Align with all current purchasing policies, procedures, and guidelines including electronic and hard copy purchase orders. -Support and consult with project teams to determine procurement needs. -Serve as a point of contact for sites for equipment and material needs as required. -Collaborate with all stakeholders (operations, national supply chain management, and finance teams) to prepare and review vendor agreements for terms, price, and acceptability of items to specification. -Track and maintain accurate documentation, including the coordination of vehicle/equipment repairs and maintenance. -Assisting in developing systems, processes and procedures that support the procurement of materials and site requirements. -Lead and participate in Company initiatives as required. -Investigate alternative product options, negotiate with vendors, and expand vendor network. -Provide support to estimating team for pursuits and pricing as required. -Assist and support in the development of project plans and activities. -Collaborate and lead strategies to maximize cost savings and process improvement, and regularly report financial analysis to operations.

What You Bring

-Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships with multiple groups -Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities, capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment -Understand Company's guidelines pertaining to warehousing and delivery to various work sites. -Strong analytical, critical thinking skills and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail -2+ years’ procurement or related experience, preferably in a construction environment -Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritization of work to achieve them -Business and/or Supply Chain Management Degree/ Diploma, or related certification/designation an asset. -Proficiency with MS Office as well as experience with Viewpoint and SAP an asset -Strong written and oral communication skills
