Tasks

The successful candidate will assist in managing a retail store and warehouse engaged in selling merchandise and materials related to the building industry. This includes overseeing daily operations, supporting staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining inventory and safety standards. -Maintain facility standards and coordinate repairs or improvements. -Lead and supervise daily store and warehouse operations. -Drive sales forecasting, budgeting, and profitability. -Respond to customer and employee concerns with urgency and professionalism. -Championing Customer Needs – Prioritize customer satisfaction and service excellence. -Oversee inventory, cash handling, and reporting. -Ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational policies. -Following Policies and Procedures – Ensure compliance and consistency. -Working Safely – Promote a safe and healthy work environment.
