The Role

Tasks

-Generate and manage work tickets for field operations. -Coordinate the transfer of equipment between branches or divisions to meet demand. -Monitor and report on the timeliness of all rental fleet activities. -Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement approved changes. -Plan and issue daily work tickets for field crews, ensuring readiness and accuracy. -Monitor and understand the financial impact of dispatch decisions to improve company profitability. -Provide technical knowledge and support to clients regarding equipment selection and usage. -Dispatch equipment and/or operators with a focus on speed, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. -Ensure strict adherence to company policies and procedures for rental equipment management. -Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for customers during rental engagements. -Maintain open and effective communication with both internal teams and external clients. -Review and prepare utilization and performance reports on a weekly/monthly basis. -Investigate and resolve discrepancies in parts, merchandise, and fleet inventory documentation. -Assist with regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits of rental equipment.

What You Bring

-Ability to understand and assess the financial impact of dispatch activities. -Proficiency with Microsoft Office and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. -Self-motivated with minimal need for supervision. -Technical aptitude regarding heavy equipment specifications. -Minimum 2–3 years of experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, or fleet management. -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. -Working knowledge of fleet and inventory management practices. -Technical or vocational training in logistics, equipment operations, or a related field is a plus. -Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. -Bilingual (Spanish/English) highly preferred.

Benefits

-The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7 AM until 5 PM (there may be times when they may be asked to work beyond 5 PM and on-call for occasional weekends) with a 1-hour lunch break.
