Tasks

-Develop and manage top-line revenue budget in collaboration with the General Manager -Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships -Enhance hotel visibility through community engagement and strategic partnerships -Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations -Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts -Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives -Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts -Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base

What You Bring

We are looking for a high-performing Sales Director to lead the Residence Inn, Burlington's sales and marketing efforts, with a focus on driving revenue, profitability, and brand visibility. This strategic role oversees all aspects of the sales department, including business development, client relationship management, forecasting, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will bring deep hospitality experience, preferably within Marriott brands, and demonstrate proficiency in key systems such as Fosse PMS, Amadeus Delphi, and ProfitSword. -Proven ability to lead teams and deliver exceptional customer service. -Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions -Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills -Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services -BA/BS degree or equivalent -Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets -Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. -Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. -Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level -Strong local market knowledge and business connections. -Understand category-specific landscapes and trends -Minimum 5 years of hotel sales experience; Marriott brand experience strongly preferred. -Proficiency in Fosse PMS, Amadeus Delphi, and ProfitSword. -Excellent verbal and written communications skills -Fluent in English (spoken and written). -Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close -Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director -Proven ability to position products against competitors
