Tasks

-Completes service contracts, quoted projects and demand service calls as directed. Develops long-term relationships with customers and explains work performed to the customer's satisfaction. Communicates and documents project status to all project stakeholders. -Uses tools and equipment that are standard issue and do not need further calibration or adjustment. Keeps tools and work areas in a clean and orderly manner. -Completes all required paperwork timely and accurately. Takes readings from nominal equipment and makes timely entry into appropriate logs. Takes and logs readings from critical equipment and takes appropriate corrective actions before system outage occur. -Coordinates multi-tech jobs, and accomplishes multiple tasks on multiple projects with minimal impact, if any, between projects. Reviews job contract specifications and assists with installation plan. Coordinates work so it aligns with the project and start-up schedule. -Performs disassembly and reassembly of industrial or commercial cooking, refrigeration and/or HVAC equipment to perform troubleshooting, planned maintenance and inspections as indicated in the service agreement. -Diagnose refrigeration and HVAC system performance through observation, testing and setup as required by trade/position and type/size of equipment to include: ice machines, reach in cooler/freezer, walk in cooler/freezer, make line, cold cases, MAU’s, exhaust fans and up to 20 Ton Unitarian equipment. -Serves as a front-line resource to service technicians through technical support. Coordinates the work of subcontractors, and trains and provides guidance to technicians. -Works on and completes all facility team-based goals. Identifies opportunities for process/system improvements and implements them as they are approved.

What You Bring

-Must have advanced knowledge of service processes, techniques and codes -6+ years of experience as a Refrigeration Technician -Must possess required registrations, professional licenses and/or certifications as a plus -Experience with graphic design, schematics and blue prints -Two-year technical degree in related field is preferred -High School Diploma or GED required -Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair: Ice Machines, Reach-in-Cooler, Reach-In Freezer, Walk in Cooler, Walk-In Freezer, Make Line, Supermarket Cases and Supermarket Racks
