The Role
Overview
Lead interior design phases, manage team, client interaction, and project budgets.
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Direct staff to complete design and technical drawings. -Produce, review, and finalize space plans for projects. -Obtain client approval and ensure integration into overall design. -Develop and deliver overall design and furniture packages. -Manage overall design budget. -Develop overall design for projects. -Assist with support for field surveys in unusual circumstances. -Oversee tasks and provide feedback on work products. -Research and select fixtures and finishes for projects. -Organize and conduct client interviews to determine space needs and requirements. -Review design and technical drawings of junior designers. -Continue to provide needed information to clients on design specifications. -Work with technical staff to resolve inconsistencies in drawings. -Manage the work of other designers. -Review and produce final cost estimates. -Review engineering drawings to ensure compliance with design solutions. -Ensure adherence to set budget and inform PM and/or client of any potential variances.

-Advanced Revit skills. -Extensive knowledge of contract administration. -Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills. -Proficiency in space planning and furniture layout concepts. -Intermediate MS Office Suite skills. -Expert sketching and rendering skills. -Expert interior architecture detailing skills. -Extensive knowledge of design principles and aesthetics. -Graduate of architecture or design school; equivalent experience may be substituted. -Extensive knowledge of construction documents and procedures. -8+ years’ experience in corporate interior design projects. -Possess extensive knowledge of detailing and finalize details on projects. -Extensive presentation and graphic communication skills. -Extensive knowledge of building systems, codes, and ADA requirements.
