The Role
Overview
Manage insurance claims, audit jobs, ensure communication and customer satisfaction.

Tasks
-Assist the team in handling escalated customer issues, resolving complex problems, and ensuring that customers are satisfied with the resolutions -Review estimates for customers and insurance through insurance software and prepare job file reports as needed -Coordinate and manage any claim disputes with Insurance Carriers -Review job close-outs by completing and reviewing job file documentation for insurance and/or customer -Audit all jobs to ensure integrity of the file and that the job is closed out properly and ready for invoicing -Handle complex insurance claims, etc., are handled with care and ensure customers are satisfied with Team Shaw service with no gaps in communication -Ensure adjuster communication is constant and transparent for maximum adjuster comfort regarding claims -Monitor Claim file status and audit jobs to validate that all documentation has been received from the field

Then you may be our perfect hero! -Ability to remain calm and professional during tense or stressful situations -Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including proper pronunciation and grammar, and a consistently courteous and professional tone at all times -Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel) -Polite, confident, and excellent customer service skills, including listening and questioning skills -Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail -Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law -5+ years of insurance-related experience using Xactimate -Capability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment -5+ years of administrative or office-related experience -Ability to learn new software -Ability to multi-task -Very self-motivated and goal-oriented -Experience in the service industry environment, specifically emergency services (water/fire restoration), a plus -Experience with writing estimates, job file processes, and quality assurance a plus -40 hours/week, flexible to work overtime when required
