Tasks

-Supervises the operation of the company's risk management information system by coordination of access, training, system maintenance and oversight of improvements and processes. -Performs technical statistical loss analysis, maintains accurate databases of historical losses to measure the frequency and severity of losses and determine the business unit responsible for each loss. Ensures through analysis that the data to be used is sufficient and accurate to develop forecasts of future losses and establish strategies for loss control and loss prevention. -Adheres to and assists in monitoring Sarbanes Oxley compliance. -Coordinates the compilation of risk exposure information necessary for the renewal negotiations of the company's hazard risk insurance and captive insurance programs by maintaining detailed files, initiating requests for information from various sources within the company and preparing detailed renewal applications and application supplements. -Provides risk management support to business units as necessary by arranging for certificates of insurance and surety bonds, providing details of our risk management programs, participating on various committees to provide risk management prospective, development of the Hazard Insurance Web page and other activities as required. -Analyzes and negotiates losses covered under company insurance contracts and negotiates and prepares third party contracts for approval. -Reviews and analyzes third party vendor/supplier contracts with respect to insurance and indemnification provisions.

What You Bring

-Minimum of five years experience in a risk management department, insurance broker/agency, insurance company or equivalent experience. -Claims handling experience. -CPCU or ARM designation or equivalent knowledge through experience. -Bachelor's degree in accounting, business law, or insurance and risk management principles. -Ability to work extended hours as required. -Ability to communicate to all levels of management.
