The Role

Overview

Diagnose, maintain, and improve rotating equipment performance at customer sites

Tasks

-Traveling to customer sites to provide supporting service, reliably managing cost and schedule -Building relationships with customers to provide a high level of service and become their trusted advisor for rotating equipment health -Preparing invoices and documents, ensuring compliance with an internal documentation system -Applying Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance -Writing technical reports providing conclusions and recommendations for customer equipment following each assignment. -Diagnosing machinery faults based upon vibration data and customer problem descriptions -Prioritizing work to achieve business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) -Proposing performance improvement and action plans -Balancing rotating equipment including turbomachinery, pumps, motors, and fans -Carrying instrumentation and equipment up to 50 pounds in weight

What You Bring

-Be able to travel regionally to work with customers on-site up to 80% of the time -Have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical recommended) from an accredited college or university (or 10+ years of applicable industry experience) -Display an advanced mechanical aptitude and experience with rotating equipment found throughout the Power Generation, Chemical Production, Refining, Metallurgical, or other similar industries -Complete 3+ years of industry experience in either the Power Generation, Chemical Production, Refining, Metallurgical, or other similar industries -Demonstrate a proactive approach to work and flexibility to adapt to ever-changing conditions under new challenges -Be able to communicate complex technical information to customers and stakeholders -Have a passport (or be able to obtain a passport) and hold a driver’s license -Being a good custodian of company assets including tools and instrumentation -Have ability to work independently and be able to identify and drive process improvements
