Tasks

-Continuously monitor and evaluate project performance indicators, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions as necessary -Follow P6 database management company best practices -Develop and support our teams improving our dashboards, KPIs, trends, etc. -Understand and set up labor productivity tracking and cross check production rates to communicate budget and production goals -Conduct regular reviews to identify potential schedule delays, conflicts, or scope changes, and propose mitigation strategies -Perform the preparation, presenting, and negotiating change orders and claims as needed -Assist in identifying and assessing project risks, evaluating their potential impact on project objectives, and proposing risk mitigation strategies -Monitor project costs, track actual expenditures against budget, and identify cost overruns -Train self-preform project teams in the development of baseline manpower, labor production, and cost tracking -Understand, communicate, and track contract project controls and scheduling requirements -Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure proper integration and alignment of project controls with financial reporting processes -Develop and implement project controls plans and procedures to ensure projects are executed efficiently and effectively -Understand, review, and track project schedules utilizing industry-standard software -Review project schedules for completeness and adherence to company standards -Prepare, update, and validate quality of preconstruction and baseline schedules and narratives -Collaborate with project managers to develop contingency plans and monitor their implementation -Identify critical path activities and maintain an accurate and up-to-date schedule -Conduct regular audits of project documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards -Support our teams improving our dashboards, KPIs, trends, etc. -Collaborate with project managers and accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial -Support the development of delay and labor productivity claims for project teams

What You Bring

-Experience in scheduling and productivity claims, a plus -Proficiency with P6 Professional -Working knowledge of virtual construction technology systems -Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree, or equivalent -Proficiency in reading and understanding contracts, plans, and specifications -7 years of construction experience including 5 years Project Controls experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience -Working knowledge of construction methods and processes -Proficiency with Microsoft Suite & Bluebeam -Able to perform all essential Assistant Project Controls responsibilities -Familiarity with job cost information -Understanding of construction cost accounting -Able to read and understand plans and specifications -Understand and communicate KPI’s and dashboards with Self-Perform teams and Operations -2+ Experience in scheduling and productivity claims is a plus -Demonstrated experience with construction-related scheduling Critical Path Method
