The Role

Overview

Manage post‑contract commercial activities and cost control for a residential development

Tasks

-Review and assess contractor interim payment applications and prepare recommendations for certification. -Ensure compliance with contract conditions, company policies, and local regulations. -Support procurement activities, including sub-contractor agreements and supplier evaluations (as required). -Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and contractual purposes. -Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle. -Monitor project budgets and prepare monthly cost reports for the client or management. -Provide cost advice on potential design or construction changes during project delivery. -Evaluate variations, change orders, and claims in line with contract terms. -Manage post-contract commercial activities across the project. -Assist in the preparation and negotiation of final accounts. -Liaise with project managers, design consultants, and contractors on commercial and contractual matters.

What You Bring

-Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field -Minimum 5 years of experience in post-contract quantity surveying -Professional membership in a recognized quantity surveying institution would be advantageous
