Overview

Lead architectural design & project management for commercial projects

Tasks

-Conduct the design/development phase with additional client/user review and approval, including performing city, county, and state code reviews and refining design options with detailed cost estimates. -Develop detailed cost estimates and work with the equipment/material specifier, manage the project timeline, and meet all due dates during the schematic design stage. -Coordinate and direct daily activities and performance requirements for construction and construction support. -Prepare contract documents by reviewing specifications with clients, refining design options, performing final development of details, and reviewing/ coordinating structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and other specialty trades. -Administer the bid/contract phase by reviewing bids, contractor invoices, punch lists, construction and shop drawings, and solving problems as they arise. -Provide daily reports on progress and resources. -Perform analysis of costs and determine required drawings for each project phase during the feasibility study stage.

What You Bring

-Proficiency in Revit. -Ability to assemble drawing sets. -5+ years of architectural design experience. -Experience with commercial projects is required. -An Architectural PM background with an A/E firm is a plus.
