Tasks

-Promote research into new Digital Construction and Building Information Modelling techniques and software, identifying and sharing best practise across Scotland's Railway and Network Rail. -Develop a training plan to develop and improve Scotland's Railway Digital Construction and Building Information Modelling capability. -Support the asset teams in the application and embedding Building Information Modelling models across Scotland's Railway. -Provide technical support and direction to stakeholders on Building Information Modelling. -Develop a plan to improve the use of Building Information Modelling throughout Scotland's Railway. -Work with stakeholders and Third Parties to develop joint approach to use and application of Building Information Modelling models throughout Scotland's Railway.

What You Bring

-Substantial successful experience in the use of Digital Construction and Building Information Modelling based systems -Successful experience of Ordnance Survey map products -Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively in a range of verbal and written methodologies -Strong management skills -Demonstrable strong database skills -Successful experience of working within the railway environment or similar industry
