Tasks
-Be accountable for ensuring effective area planning to maximise travel time and time on customer premises -Install, Service & Maintain Portable Fire Extinguishers -Liaise with Service Administrators to ensure the needs of our customers are met -Carry out scheduled & reactive maintenance in a timely, efficient & cost-effective manner -Plan and complete call visits within your designated region, ensuring maximum efficiency and best use of resources -Effectively communicate with our customers to ensure a good understanding of system/equipment status -Carry out full surveys of customer sites to assess for fire equipment and signage -Work in line with current British standards and customer requirements -Be responsible for the management & security of vehicle stock, tools & equipment -Build professional and effective relationships with a wide client base

What You Bring
-Experience in other Mechanical Fire Systems would be advantageous -Must be able to create quotes and recommendations to send to the customer. -Must be computer literate and be conversant with email, Word, Excel and be able to work with a PDA/iPad/smartphone -Full driving licence -Technical background in the Mechanical Fire industry -Experience in fire extinguisher servicing, hold a qualification to prove competence and have good knowledge BS5306 parts 3 and 8 -Previous experience of maintaining fire extinguishers is essential -Ability to work unsupervised with the capability to problem solve -Must have a basic knowledge of maths and be able to calculate fire ratings. -Travel and some stopovers are expected during the training period and busier months -Flexibility to travel for work and training when required -Qualified to BAFE / FETA or equivalent, and ongoing refresher training every three years with certificated evidence -Experience of front-line customer service
