Tasks

-Support Construction Managers in verifying installed quantities for Pay Applications -Navigate and utilize project documentation including design drawings, specifications, Design Standards Manual, and contract terms -Coordinate daily activities with third-party inspectors and project stakeholders, including ABIA Operations, Environmental teams, City inspectors, and AUS personnel -Review contractor work for compliance with specifications, manufacturer instructions, and regulatory standards -Conduct field inspections to verify conformance with approved contract documents and applicable codes -Maintain accurate daily inspection reports detailing work reviewed and observations made -Document deficiencies and communicate findings to the Contractor and CDS inspectors in a timely manner -Participate in change management processes and assist in schedule evaluations

What You Bring

-Strong understanding of contract documents, technical specifications, and design standards -Must be willing to work on-site in Austin, TX -Demonstrated aviation-related construction experience, including work on taxiways, runways, terminals, and underground utilities -Valid Driver’s License -Must have experience with HVAC, Hydronic Piping, Building Automation Systems -In-depth knowledge of environmental codes and regulatory requirements -Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry -Familiarity with discipline-specific codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IMC, IPC, SMACNA, IBC, IEEE) -Proficient in Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, SharePoint -Ability to pass a TSA criminal history background check -Ability to interpret and coordinate with third-party inspection reports
