Tasks

Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure project specifications are met. Collaborate with senior designers to select materials, finishes, and furnishings. Develop furniture design concepts and create technical drawings for custom pieces. Source and procure materials, furnishings, and accessories for projects. Portfolio showcasing design projects and technical drawings. Participate in site visits and assess project spaces. Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and design innovations. Create plans & detailed design drawings with mood boards, sample boards, and other visual presentations for the projects. Assist in the conceptualization and development of interior design projects by R&D team.

What You Bring

Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.; peripheral knowledge of graphic design software. Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. Understanding of design principles. 2-3 years of experience in interior design or furniture design, including internships. Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, or a related field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Overview: We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated individual to join our dynamic Product R&D team. The Junior Interior & Furniture Designer will assist in the design and development of interior spaces and custom furniture pieces.
