The Role
Overview
Hands-on internship supporting construction projects and business operations at ESI.

Tasks
-Assist in the management and coordination of on-site trades. -Manage project documentation control, including organizing, maintaining, and updating plan updates (ASIs, CCDs, etc.), RFIs and responses, submittals, and taking and distributing meeting minutes. -Change management document distribution and tracking. -Subcontract payment processing. -Building Operations -Supporting the Marketing team with proposals, various media initiatives (design/photo/video), and other marketing efforts. -Project documentation management, correspondence, and logs. -Attend & help coordinate company events that occur during your internship, including groundbreakings, ESI CARES events, employee events, etc. -Mentored by a Superintendent, Project/Field Engineer, and/or Project Manager. -Subcontract/Purchase order distribution and tracking. -Assist in all aspects of a construction project, including bidding, construction/operations, project close-out, and warranty, depending on phase of assigned project. -Supporting the Information Technology team with service desk requests, asset management, and other installation, maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting efforts. -Accounting closeout processes. -Representing ESI as an ambassador to clientele, design teams, city officials, and subcontractors. -Subcontractor joint check documentation, correspondence, and processing. -Supporting the Human Resources team with employee onboarding communication, human resources documentation, benefits administration, and insight into applicable laws and policies (including affirmative action, equal employment opportunity, etc.).

The ideal candidate will be within 2 years, or less, of graduation/successful completion of their degree. -High school diploma or GED completed and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, HR, computer science, information technology, or business administration, or related majors preferred. The ideal candidate will be within 2 years, or less, of graduation/successful completion of their degree. -Project accounting and financial analysis. -Closeout documentation.
