Overview

Electrical/Instrumentation technician for urea plant construction

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

Install of electrical cable including pulling and tying. Install and / or remove temporary electrical / lighting reticulation circuits. Installation of electrical conduits within trenches - includes civil trenching works and manual backfill of trenches to site specifications. Install and / or remove electrical equipment. Complete electrical appliance and portable equipment testing and tagging. Manual installation of electrical. Execute work by following comprehensive procedures in conjunction with adhering to work instructions laid down in work packs. Complete Inspection and Test Records (ITR’s).

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation (If applicable) License to Perform High Risk Work Elevated Work Platform (WP) endorsement - mandatory Electrical Licence WA - mandatory Installation and Maintenance of Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas(EEHA) - mandatory Work Safely at Heights - mandatory Full Working Rights in Australia Perform CPR/LVR - mandatory Confined Space Entry - desirable
