Overview

Assist architects and engineers with lighting design tasks and calculations on projects.

Tasks

-Perform assignments under the direct supervision of an Architect, Engineer, or Lighting Designer -Perform lighting calculations and other duties as needed -Develop drawings, CAD/models and technical details for presentations, renderings, construction documentation, and energy calculations. -Participate in the architectural design process, and develop alternative solutions and presentation graphics used to communicate concepts

What You Bring

-Preferred knowledge of any of these software packages: Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, 3DS Max, Rhino, Grasshopper, DIVA, iRay and/or Climate Studio. -2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA in Architectural Engineering specializing in Lighting Design, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design or closely related field. -Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office and software packages related to field of study/industry, including but not limited to Revit, AutoCAD and/or AGi32. -Good organization and time management skills. -Able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks. -Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment. -Good verbal communication skills. -Effective working individually and within team environments.
