The Role

Overview

Support design, testing, and commissioning of SCADA control systems as an EIT/coordinator.

Tasks

-Assist with the selection and specification of process instrumentation, control panels, and network equipment. -Travel to client facilities to participate in field activities to assess and document the current state of installed control systems. -Assist with system testing and commissioning activities. -This person may also be involved in coordination during construction phases including the review of shop drawings and to participate in field observation on an as needed basis. This individual should be self-motivated with attention to detail and an initiative to deliver high quality, technically sound I&C designs. -Assist with the development of biddable and technically accurate SCADA / I&C construction documents including P&IDs, network architecture diagrams, control panel layouts and wiring diagrams, installation details, loop drawings, and technical specifications. -Assist with development of PLC programs and HMI applications.

What You Bring

-Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) / Distributed Control System (DCS) programming or SCADA HMI configuration experience a plus -Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field. -AutoCAD P&ID experience a plus -EIT certification strongly preferred. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of 'Coordinator' and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression. -Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
