Overview
Manage procurement, contracts and subcontractors for $50m+ construction project.

Tasks
You will be responsible for the procurement, management and administration of contracts throughout the project life cycle. In addition, you will ensure that the high quality and profitability of the projects are maintained while financial and contractual risks are minimised. -Negotiate and review subcontract tenders including preparation of tender comparison for review -Monitor subcontractors to ensure they are adhering to environmental commitments and responsibilities -Understand and manage subcontractor contractual risk -Preparation of project budgets for review and provide accurate rolling final account forecasts -Preparation of accurate payment schedules -Prepare, check and review subcontract packages, scopes, lettings and procurement schedules -Process progress claims, delay claims and external variations according to contractual obligations -Managing all facets of the subcontract process -Assist in the preparation and administration of project completion and inspection test plans

What You Bring
Our client is an established leader in the construction industry who are known for their high-quality practices. They are now seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to work on an exciting project. Experience on new build jobs $50m+ would be desirable as well as having a strong commercial base knowledge ideally working in a head contractor environment. -Good negotiation skills -Minimum 2 - 5 years’ experience within the construction industry – a tier 1, 2 or 3 background would be ideal -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite -Construction Safety Induction (White) card -Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction or similar -Strong financial analysis and administrative focus -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Experience with Coins Software is preferable
