The Role
Overview
Maintain and improve equipment, production lines, and facilities at ABB.
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Dismantles, cleans, repairs and tests electrical, electronic and mechanical components to determine component-level failure -Proposing improvement projects for processes and production lines aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and optimizing operational and energy efficiency. -Support equipment installations, retrofits and upgrades to include vendors and contractors. -Defining maintenance plans for new production lines, and consulting on ways to improve reliability, maintainability, and safety of equipment and/or facilities. -Perform preventative maintenance to help reduce costs of operations through PM optimization. -Work with drawings, sketches and other written or verbal instructions, etc. keeping necessary records -Responding to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions, and other operating problems to minimize disruption in the production process. -Solving major technical, equipment, or facilities problems to achieve higher performance of the production lines.
