Property Manager

Overview

Manage daily operations, leasing, maintenance, and compliance for affordable housing properties.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Conduct move-ins and outs ensuring accuracy and compliance with designated programs and policy/procedure. -Ensure that proper training, equipment, and materials are available for staff use as needed. -Ensure all Fair Housing rules and regulations are understood and are being followed. -Communicate with leadership, housing authorities, and outside clients as needed. -Conduct frequent and continual inspections of property. -Ensure that maintenance requests are completed in a reasonable time. -Maintain the highest professional standards and customer service standards for yourself and the entire team. -Continuously analyze maintenance, administrative, and other expenses to maximize profits while reducing expenses. -Handles rent collections, documentation collections, and ensures accuracy for the property(ies) assigned. -Accepts and processes prospective resident applications. -Schedule and complete assigned projects.

Requirements

What You Bring

-Education: Associate’s Degree -Valid Driver’s License required -Preferred Experience: 2+ years of housing experience -Certifications: Any Affordable Housing Certification -Interpersonal Abilities: Leadership, teamwork, integrity, communication skills, critical thinking skills, ability to understand financial and staffing documents. -Physical Abilities: Ability to be exposed to the elements, ability to: lift, pull, push, bend (up to 50 pounds), ability to walk across a multitude of surfaces, exposure to basic household chemicals with occasional need for PPE due to construction chemicals or higher-level chemicals being used. -This position may have travel up to 50%
