Tasks

-Ensure alignment of department goals and activities with corporate Vision, Mission, goals, and strategies -Provide consultative support to other departments -Ensure knowledge transfer to team members and effectively manage remotely based teams -Execute staff growth plans -Engage in consistent performance management (e.g., coaching, teaching, appraising, and mentoring) -Oversee correction of O&E application related issues and concerns -prepare for added responsibilities and ensure succession planning is in place -Determine directions related to new innovations and modernization of O&E applications -Develop relationships with O&E customers to ensure goals are being met -Coordinate O&E application development, building in redundancy and room for growth, and -Perform employee performance appraisals and coach employees to gain efficiencies, to -Account for the performance and achievement of employees in reporting area and teach employees in area to be likewise personally accountable -Serve as a role model for Company’s Guiding Principles and actively exhibiting behaviors which champion its Vision and Mission

What You Bring

-Demonstrate organization’s leadership skills and traits as outlined below -Ability to budget and forecast expense and capital -2+ years of experience at the senior level -Major in information technology, business or related field -Experience leading large application, infrastructure, or security projects -Ability to research, understand, and make recommendations to improve applications -Ability to work and collaborate with others throughout the organization -Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience -Ability to lead technical staff -Master’s degree, or other advanced degree -Experience with software development methodologies -6+ years’ experience in IT Applications or related area -Valid driver’s license and insurability -Strong written and verbal communication skills
