The Role

Overview

Lead QA and project delivery for construction and commissioning phases.

Tasks

-Compile and submit monthly progress reports to stakeholders. -Align quality activities with construction schedules. -Conduct and supervise routine inspections, audits, and checks. -Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams for smooth transitions. -Assist in commissioning and handover strategies, including inspections and testing. -Provision of new build construction facilities -Construct and manage O&M manuals in line with contractual and regulatory standards. -Contribute to ongoing improvement of the Quality Management System. -Support the approval and execution of the Quality Management Plan. -Review method statements for quality and safety alignment. -Resolve quality issues and nonconformities through corrective measures. -Organize third-party and non-destructive testing (NDT) as required. -Ensure Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) meet project and quality standards. -Control quality-related documentation and ensure proper record-keeping. -Monitor compliance with ISO 9001, QMS, and project-specific quality protocols. -Perform audits on subcontractors and track corrective actions. -Facilitate timely RFIs/TQs and submission of quality deliverables. -Maintain accurate site records for project close-out and handover. -Track deliverables including test reports, warranties, and certificates. -Promote quality awareness and conduct training workshops.

What You Bring

-White Card -Drivers Licence -Australian Citizenship is required for this role -Familiarity with ISO 9001, relevant standards and regulatory requirements. -Police Clearance -Lead Auditor(desirable) -(5-10) experience in engineering and project delivery roles, preferably in large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects. -Experience in Defence projects is desirable but not essential -Communication and coordination skills. -Tertiary Qualification in Engineering - Civil/Mechanical/Electrical -Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. -Understanding of QMS management, commissioning, and documentation control.
