Quality Assurance Analyst

Tasks

-Test research and development samples for food safety and specification compliance. -Document all collected data neatly and precisely for management review, using charts, graphs, and tables. -Monitor processes to ensure consistent operation. -Inspect and swab equipment and environment, communicating problems to appropriate technical services or operations personnel. -Recommend methods to improve processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity, quality, and consistency. -Organize and test samples of ingredients, final products, shelf studies, or customer projects. -Communicate any inconsistent results or observations to management immediately. -Label and maintain samples of ingredients or products for retains or shelf-life monitoring. -Sample ingredients, products, and packages and monitor and test them according to established procedures. -Monitor plant compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). -Maintain labs and other work areas and equipment in an orderly fashion.

What You Bring

-Ability to conduct line checks and work effectively in a lab environment. -At least 6 months of experience in food or quality preferred -A bachelor's degree in life sciences is preferred, but not required. -Strong organizational skills to efficiently manage work tasks and time. -Knowledge in food science, food quality, microbiology, and biology. -Proficiency in written and oral communication and computer skills. -Experience in quality assurance and testing.
