Overview
Set up, operate, and maintain manufacturing equipment to produce foam products.

Tasks
-Cleans equipment before, during and after shift. -Moves and feeds raw material or parts to semi-automated machines. -Troubleshoots and fixes issues that arise during shift and reports problems to leadership. -Performs inspection of machinery to ensure efficient operation and production. -Operates machinery in a consistently safe manner adjusting as needed. -Performs first article inspections. -Maintains activity logs and keeps daily records of down time and machine operations. -Removes or shifts material and/or finished products to facilitate proper flow. -Sets up and performs minor calibrations of machinery. -Maintains a clean work area utilizing good housekeeping practices. -Verifies functionality of safety features prior to machine operation.

What You Bring
-Ability to lift and move objects up to 50lbs. -Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods during shift. -Adheres to health and safety regulations and wears required PPE. -This position is designated as a safety-sensitive job and therefore subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing. -Understanding of production procedures. -Required to wear proper personal protective equipment. -Strong analytical skills and ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. -Ability to read tape measure, blueprints, schematics and manuals. -Ability to follow written or verbal instructions. -Ability to work in manufacturing facilities and regularly be exposed to varying and extreme temperatures, loud noises, dust, chemical fumes, sharp metal objects and heavy forklift traffic. -Strong attention to detail. -Ability to work in a team environment and communicate with others. -Working knowledge of diverse machinery and measurement tools.
