Tasks

-Prepares engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs. -Prepares detailed requisitions for equipment and materials. -Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents. Provides technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project. -May be required to provide the seal and signature of the professional engineer, as appropriate, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and ordinances. -Reviews supplier drawing submittals and performs technical bid analyses. -Performs complex engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately. Extracts engineering information from CAD drawings. -May act in an advisory capacity to senior management personnel on engineering related matters. -Completes a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes. Frequently interfaces with other Engineering disciplines as well as other departments.

What You Bring

-Previous experience of working in a PMO -Experience of working within a multi-discipline team environment -Charted (or similar) status with an industry recognized engineering body -Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering. -Experience in reviewing third party designs and coordinating comments for approval -Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering -15+ years of related work experience. -Proactive approach to own activities and helping in other disciplines, as far as practically possible, to assist in PMO overall efficiency -Experience managing large tasks and/or projects
