Tasks

-Conduct technical quality assurance inspections and use results to improve production processes and standards. -Maintain clean, accurate data and documentation of all non-conforming material detected in Production. -Assist in metric reporting to cross-functional teams utilizing our Quality Management System and Manufacturing Execution System software to allow for streamlined problem solving and root cause analysis of quality issues. -Be responsible for attending and updating MDI teams. -Perform inspection and audit duties on a variety of parts/units involving first piece, in process and final inspection. -This position will be part of the Quality team that supports Trane’s Manufacturing and Engineering operations at our Pueblo, Colorado facility. -Interface with engineering and production departments to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and to develop rework/repair instructions and procedures. -We work collaboratively to build strong relationships with our internal and external teams. You will report to Quality Engineering and collaborate with other Operations and Quality team members.

What You Bring

-Must have the ability to lift 35 lbs, as requested -Ability to read and understand wiring schematics and drawings. -Hands-on problem solver with sound judgement and keen trouble-shooting skills. -Strong time management and organizational skills. -Detail-oriented, resourceful, and diligent. -Ability to work in a team setting and demonstrate a positive work attitude -Strong mechanical aptitude. -Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, establish trust and credibility, and act with complete integrity. -Familiarity with quality measurement tools, including dimensional and electrical measuring equipment. -Actively participle in Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving. -Know how to use a variety of tools, precision-measuring instruments, and volt meters. -Have a thorough understanding of technical components and processes involved in chiller assembly. -Know how to read and interpret engineering requirements from text and drawings. -Must have the ability to keep up with high volume in a fast-moving environment -Self-starter with the ability to adapt interpersonal styles and techniques to influence at all levels of the organization. -Ability to troubleshoot the root cause of issues found in production or during End of Line testing. -Excellent communication skills. -Minimum of 2 years of experience with electrical and mechanical systems testing and repair.
