Tasks
-Assist Supervisors with troubleshooting diesel engines and turbochargers -Follow all manufacturer specifications and MSHS Pacific Power Group ISO standards -Execute repair and maintenance work on-site and on-board under provided instructions -Write accurate and detailed technical service reports -Use portable and shop equipment such as valve seat grinders/cutters and honing tools -Prepare personal hand tools, consumables, materials, and manuals for field assignments -Perform workshop technician duties in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations -Communicate clearly with supervisors, team members, and customers

What You Bring
-Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions -Industrial/technical college background is a plus -Equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience -Availability to work occasional weekends -4–6 years of related experience; marine/offshore industry strongly preferred -Ability to lift up to 50 lbs -Ability to produce written technical reports -Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues -2-year degree in a technical/vocational discipline OR -Capable of standing for long periods, kneeling, stooping, and working in tight or uncomfortable spaces -Ability to follow instructions and established guidelines -Clear and professional communication skills -Must be able to twist, turn, and maneuver frequently during tasks -Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in repair work -Strong technical understanding of turbocharger systems and mechanical components -Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering OR
