The Traveling Construction Project Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of utility-scale construction projects, managing high-performing teams across multiple U.S. sites. This role requires coordination with internal teams—including engineering, procurement, and project controls—as well as external contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget, while supporting the scaling of the company’s construction management capability. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role offering significant autonomy, exposure to large-scale renewable projects, and opportunities for professional growth.

  • Contribute to process improvements and the development of the project management function.
  • Direct and mentor construction teams, fostering a high-performance, safety-focused work environment.
  • Collaborate with EPC partners, developers, internal teams, and subcontractors to maintain alignment with project objectives.
  • Participate in site visits and project meetings to monitor progress, address issues, and mitigate risks.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, procurement, and performance tracking to ensure financial and operational success.
  • Lead utility-scale solar, battery storage, and other energy projects through the full construction lifecycle.

  • Experience with EPCs, contractors, or developers preferred; experience managing union labor is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience managing utility-scale solar or energy construction projects.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license required; PMP or equivalent preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven track record leading construction projects through the full lifecycle, including budgeting and scheduling.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across multiple U.S. project sites.
