Senior IT Project Manager

Overview

Manage multiple large IT projects ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality.

Tasks

-Identify and coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for successful execution of projects -Measure project performance and provide status updates/reports -Utilize approved change control processes to manage changes in project scope, schedule and budget -Provide mentoring and guidance to junior members of the team and IT leads managing projects -Develop project scope and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and enduring technical feasibility -Perform risk analysis and management to keep projects on track -Ensure that project results meet agreed-upon scope, cost, schedule and quality objectives -Plan and manage multiple large sized projects of moderate to high complexity -Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation -Develop detailed project plans

What You Bring

-Engineering and/or Construction background a plus -Ability to manage multiple complex projects and initiatives with little to no supervision -Experience in working with business users to establish priorities and manage expectations -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Quality Assurance or closely related field -Strong verbal and written communication skills and capable of performing tasks in a dynamic environment, many times working under tight delivery schedules -Extensive knowledge of project management processes, systems development methods, organizational change management concepts, and business process improvement methods -A minimum of 5 years IT management experience, including management of multiple concurrent projects -Self-starter, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision -Excellent client service, interpersonal and communication skills
